About Us

The Beccles Carnival procession dates back to the pre 1900's and is free to enter.
If you are a club, business, youth group or club, public house, have a vintage car or special interest vehicle, pedestrian, family group or just a group of individuals than enter now! Let your imagination run wild, no theme, the brighter and bigger the better!
The procession offers an excellent opportunity to bring the whole community together and have fun. Also you can promote your group, club or business in the process! Get your entry form in now!

Beccles is a small market town situated on the gateway to the broads on the River Waveney. We have a great selection of historical buildings to visit along with the Beccles Museum and our amazing outdoor pool now run by Beccles Lido.
We also have a ot of small independent shops along with larger retailers in our great town. Once you have visited our small firendly town you are sure to return again.
Our Market Day is held every Friday.
Our town really comes to life over the Carnival Weekend that is held the 3rd weekend of August! annually

What is the route?

We designed a new route for 2011, which I am sure we will follow again in 2012.
Procession leaves the Back of Rainbow car park at 1.pm
Turns Left into Gosford Road
Turns Left into Station Road
Straight up Station Road to join Market Street
Turns left top of Market Street into New Market
Turns left into the Walk
Straight into Saltgate
Into Northgate
Finishes at Fen Lane Beccles Quay
