Kirstie Beglarian is our new Beccles ambassador. Kirstie has lived in Beccles all her life and is very proud to be chosen to represent it. She works at persimmon homes Anglia ltd as a reception administrator. Her attendants the Beccles Princesses are Emma Skoulding aged 11 and Millie Freeman aged 12, both girls attend the Beccles Middle School.

We had a New Route for 2011. The Procession left the Back of Rainbow car park at 1.pm, Turned Left into Gosford Road, then Left into Station Road, Straight up Station Road to join Market Street, Turned left top of Market Street into New Market, Turned left into the Walk, Straight into Saltgate, Into Northgate and Finished at Fen Lane Beccles Quay.

all the important jobs and attendances she has to perfrom in the folloing season. If you are interested

help us set up, steward, or general light duties. Volunteering looks great on your CV and we
can give you a written reference.

Saturday 18TH August 2012 is a real FUN DAY out.
The entertainment will start at 1pm, With entertainment by KYSLR look out for their fun games and
giveaways, Dress up your teddy Bears for our Teddy Bear competition with prizes for Best Dressed
sponsored by Toybox of Beccles. Are you feeling creative and cant wait until Sundays procession then
help your children design a costume for our Children’s Fancy dress competion. Beccles Baby competition
is back by popular demand along with our glamorous Grandmother competition. We have a good Variety of
food, craft, books and other Stalls, stocks fun Fair and of course you’re favourite Andy the Clown.
Something for the whole family to enjoy admission is free but to enable us to continue putting on this
event donations much appreciated!

next Beccles Carnival Procession.
The Beccles Carnival procession dates back to the pre 1900's and is free to enter.
If you are a club, business, youth group or club, public house, have a vintage car or special interest vehicle,
pedestrian, family group or just a group of individuals than enter now! Let your imagination run wild, no theme,
the brighter and bigger the better!
The procession offers an excellent opportunity to bring the whole community together and have fun. Also you can
promote your group, club or business in the process! Get your entry form in now!

Following the wonderful traditional Carnival procession the Quayside entertainment begins with
Moore Music Roadshow, Displays to entertain and amaze you! Along with the various stalls and not
forgetting our great static display of vintage, classic, steam display. We pride ourselves in providing
Something for the whole family to enjoy and keeping the cost to our visitors low so admission is free
but to enable us to continue putting on this event we would ask that you make a donation to one of our
bucket collectors your support is much appreciated!
