It's FREE to enter a float - there are many categories from a walking group of people to a full sized decorated lorry, you can enter a classic car, a horse and carriage, or perhaps you have something unusual in mind.

The closing date for receiving completed booking forms is the 20th August, BUT please get them in as soon as possible.

On receipt of your completed entry form, you will be sent all the necessary information for taking part including windshield category stickers. The pack will explain procedures, ie, where to assemble, judging, etc.

Parade route:

Leaves Via Gosford Road, left onto Station Road, Newgate, Blyburgate, Peddars Lane, St Mary's Road, Ballygate, New Market, The Walk, Old Market, Northgate and then on to the Quayside.
