Battle of the Bands Winners - Remember When
Remember When
2007 Winners of our 3rd Annual Battle of the Bands Competition, Remember When, scoring 198/240 points.

Their Band members are Kier Kemp aged 17, (Rhythm Guitar and Vocals), Laurence Beveridge aged 18, (Lead Guitar and Vocals), Shane Sumner aged 18, (Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals), Luke Fairhead aged 18, (Drums).

"We’ve been an official band since around September 2006. We're a 4 piece pop/indie/whatever band. All members had been in established local bands for at least two years previously, playing various pub circuits and venues around the Norwich area.

When "Remember When" formed, our intensions were clear we wanted to do it, and do it right. So we now have at least two practices a week having written up a collection of material with influences ranging between Damian Rice, The Kinks, Smashing Pumpkins, MCR, Lost Prophets, The Hush Sound, Rufus Wainwright, The Beatles etc.
Our bank of material currently houses about 16 songs which we hope to refine further and form an impressive set. We currently put all our spare time out of A-levels into music and we are scheduled to move to London in late summer this year to take up music full time.

After recording our last four track demo a month or so ago we‘re now looking to ready ourselves for our future prospects. After self distributing the last demo to various management companies, we have now had a couple of offers from companies such as sparkle promotions and music distribution media to help get the new tracks out there. However our immediate concern is to build a fan base within London and the UK and we are currently looking for gig promoters and management."
